Summer Intensive Terms & Conditions

  1. COURSE OVERVIEW

The International Dance Summer Intensive (“the Course”) is a one-week training program designed to prepare dancers for professional and international performance work.

By booking onto the Course, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

Participants must:

  • Be of suitable training level to undertake intensive dance activity
  • Be physically fit to participate
  • Be aged 18 or over, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if a participant is deemed unsuitable for the Course.

  1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

3.1 Fees

  • Full course fee: £315
  • Early bird fee: £275 (limited to first 15 bookings)

3.2 Deposit

  • A £100 deposit is required to secure a place
  • A place is not confirmed until the deposit is received

3.3 Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than the end of June
  • Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in the place being forfeited
  1. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

4.1 Participant Cancellation

  • The £100 deposit is non-refundable

If cancellation occurs after full payment:

  • Refunds may be issued at our discretion up to 14 days before the course start date
  • No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the course start date

4.2 Course Cancellation by Us

If the Course is cancelled by Next Act Global:

  • All payments, including deposits, will be refunded in full

We are not liable for additional costs incurred (e.g. travel or accommodation).

  1. COOLING-OFF PERIOD

As this Course is delivered on specific dates, it is exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  1. COURSE CHANGES

We reserve the right to:

  • Make reasonable changes to the schedule, staff, or content
  • Adjust timings or structure where necessary

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

  1. HEALTH & SAFETY

Participants are responsible for:

  • Ensuring they are physically fit to take part
  • Informing us of any injuries or medical conditions

Next Act Global accepts no liability for injuries sustained during the Course, except where caused by proven negligence.

  1. FILMING, PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT USE

During the Course:

  • Filming and photography will take place
  • Content may include group and individual performances

By attending, participants agree that:

  • Footage and images may be used for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing)
  • Content may also be shared with participants for personal use

If a participant does not wish to be featured, this must be stated in writing prior to the Course.

  1. PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

As part of the Course:

  • Information will be provided regarding international contract opportunities through Next Act Global
  • Informal interviews may take place

Attendance does not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Representation
  • Placement on any contract

All hiring decisions are made at the sole discretion of Next Act Global and its partners.

Next Act Global is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10.1 Data Collected

We may collect:

  • Name, contact details, and date of birth
  • Payment information
  • Dance experience and CV details
  • Photos and video content

10.2 Purpose of Data Use

Your data is used to:

  • Process your booking
  • Manage participation in the Course
  • Communicate important information
  • Provide relevant professional opportunities (where consent is given)

10.3 Data Storage

  • Data is stored securely and only for as long as necessary
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

10.4 Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • You may be contacted regarding suitable international contracts
  • This is entirely optional and not required to attend the Course.
  1. LIABILITY

Next Act Global is not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Travel or accommodation arrangements
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the Course.
